Detailed Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper standards of hospitality are provided to all guests and visitors on property and/or via telephone.
Check in arriving guests and check out departing guests.
Compute billing charges, collect payments and provide change for guest.
Verify guest information as needed (i.e., additional keys, telephone calls and packages).
Answer inquiries pertaining to resort amenities and services.
Follow through on guest requests and/or concerns in a timely manner.
Handle and resolve customer complaints.
Communicate with all internal departments including PBX, Housekeeping, Engineering and Security as needed via telephone and email.
Create, confirm and cancel reservations for owners/guests.
Complete back to back reservations.
Balance all end-of-day shift reports.
Ensure rate-builders are posted properly.
Verify cash and credit card transactions.
Complete nightly cash drop.
Verify main bank counts.
Refresh mini-banks of $500.00 or amount prescribed by Resort Management.
Monitor and implement “trace” transactions.
Complete night audit checklist.
Prepare for next day arrivals (registration cards, arrival packets with necessary materials and information, etc.).
Provide/assist with Bell & Valet services.
Monitor PBX and fire alarm systems.
Report any unusual or major incident to Resort Management/Security immediately.
Complete additional projects such as daily bucket checks and stocking.
Provide superior customer service in accordance with the Company DRIven to Excellence standards.
Consistently practice and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and prospects.
Operate office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
One (1) year customer service experience.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Preferred:
Two (2) years experience as a Front Desk Clerk/Agent.
Previous experience in the timeshare industry.
College coursework in hotel/resort management.
SKILLS
Required:
Money handling skills.
Ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to make sound decisions in regards to guest concerns, identifying & correcting errors, and reducing liability to the resort.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Problem analysis and problem solving skills.
Initiative and adaptability.
Detail oriented.
Preferred:
Bilingual.
