Lead Valet
The Lead Valet is responsible for providing the highest level of guest satisfaction to owners, members and guests. The Lead Valet oversees the Bell/Valet staff and performs their daily responsibilities and assists where necessary to ensure optimum service. Ensures the Bell/Valet staff greets and assists all arriving owners, guests and visitors to the resort. Responsible for overseeing the delivery and pick-up of all luggage, amenities, mail and other items to owners, guests, visitors and/or resort staff.

Detailed Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and train Bell/Valet staff.
Prioritize and organize work assignments and delegate accordingly to the Bell/Valet staff.
Ensure security of guest room access, resort facilities and property.
Assist Bell/Valet staff with parking and retrieval of guest vehicles.
Assist Front Desk staff with guest room tours.
Direct performance of staff and follow up with corrective action where needed.
Enforce resort standards, policies and procedures.
Greet and assist all arriving owners, guests and visitors to the resort with their luggage, groceries and other personal items.
Provide information and/or directions regarding resort facilities and amenities.
Responsible for the delivery, pick-up and storage of all luggage, amenities, packages, mail and other items to owners, guests and visitors.
Assist owners, guests, visitors and handicapped persons by utilizing electric/golf carts to transport them and their luggage, groceries and personal items to and from the lobby, suites and other facilities during inclement weather or upon request.
Maintain the porte-cochere, lobby, bell desk and surrounding areas in a safe, clean and presentable condition to ensure safety and owner/guest satisfaction at all times.
Maintain all Bell/Valet department, hand carts and other equipment in a safe and properly working condition. Ensure all repairs are reported.
Monitor ground, facilities and suites to ensure Bell/Valet staff is responsible for reporting all maintenance, housekeeping and safety concerns.
Monitor all parking areas.
Retrieve theatre tickets, flowers and other amenities as requested.
Provide superior customer service in accordance with the Company DRIven to Excellence standards.
Consistently practice and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and prospects.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
One (1) year previous experience as a Bellman or working in Hotel Front Services.
Computer proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Minimum 21 years of age due to insurance liability.
Valid state-issued driver’s license.
Driving record/printout.
Preferred:
Previous supervisory experience.

Ability to lead and mentor a team.
Ability to drive and park a passenger van, owner vehicle and golf cart.
Ability to write reports and correspondence.
